Update No. 8
4-Week Old “I” Puppies

Quinn is leaving the puppies more and more these days and nursing less (I would too , their little teeth are sharp) so mushy food has been introduced.  The puppies have adapted to the new food quite well with a bit of help from humans stirring and dipping their fingers into the food.  Pictured on the right are Independence & Isabella sharing a muffin tin of food.

Ignacio, Izze and Ingrid (pictured left) are learning to share their tin with each other and looks like they are getting the hang of it.

The puppies have also been introduced to baby bandannas so they get use to having a service cape on in the near future.  The puppies were very accepting of the bandanna.  Isabella, the little princess, did a little back flip trying to get a good look at her “cape”, she would probably appreciate a mirror in the puppy room. 
Today’s models are Ignacio and Isabella (top left) and Ingrid and Iman (below center) – I think they are ready for the runway.

Above, Ingrid is playing with a fun toy outside on the concrete.  Last week, on the very warm days, the puppies went on a field trip to the backyard.  They are being introduced to sights, sounds and lots of textures underfoot.  Full body massage combined with ear, tooth and toe handling gets them prepared to conquer the world of service work.

The pups are very social and love to be around visitors – so stop on by to visit.
