Meet Hannah, Puppy Raiser of Service Dog in Training Vail

“Being Vail’s puppy raiser has been such an amazing opportunity. She is the one of the most kind-hearted dogs I have ever had the pleasure of spending time with. She is smart, loving, and funny…which is all anyone could ask for in their dog. Being a raiser has shown me the impact a service dog has in someone’s life and the importance of their love and connection.

Vail has been accompanying me to the school where I work and loves being around the kids. It’s been really great for the kids to see the process of training a service dog. They never run out of questions, even if it’s the same one over and over again.

It’s an exciting, sometimes frustrating, but incredibly rewarding process. I love watching her grow, intellectually and physically. I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow! She never ceases to amaze me. She will be an incredible service dog for someone one day.”
