Debbie’s ‘Shadow’

Puppy raiser, Debbie Hampton, is a fourth grade teacher at Lena Archuleta Elementary School. Everyday her shadow, that is, Canine Partner of the Rockies’ five-month old pup, Shadow, comes with her. With the help of her students, Shadow is taken care of throughout the day. Having Shadow in the classroom has taught the students the idea of showing kindness and giving back.
