Stanley​

​Meet Stanley! Stanley was whelped at Guide Dogs of America and is a full Golden Retriever born on September 16th, 2021 along with his sister Molly. He is named after the Stanley Hotel located in Estes Park, Colorado about five miles from Rocky Mountain National Park.

The Stanley Hotel was built by Freelan Oscar Stanley or Stanley Steamer fame and opened on July 4th, 1909.

​​It was built as a resort for the wealthy and a health retreat for tuberculosis victims. It is famously known for author Stephen King’s bestseller The Shining.
