Salida

Meet Salida! Salida comes to us from Freedom Service Dogs and is a Labrador retriever, born on July 21st, 2020 along with her brother, Buck. She gets her name from the small town Salida in Colorado.

Salida meaning "exit" in Spanish, the community was named because of its location, which is near where the Arkansas River flows out of the valley and into Bighorn Sheep Canyon, upstream from the Royal Gorge.
