Juniper

Meet Juniper! Juniper came to us from KSDS Assistance Dogs, Inc and the Assistance Dogs International North American Breeding Cooperative (of service and guide dog schools). She was born on July 13th. 2020 and is a Labrador Golden Retriever cross. Juniper is names after the Junipers of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Rocky Mountain juniper is widely used in shelter belts and wildlife plantings. The close-grained, aromatic, and durable wood of junipers is used for furniture, interior paneling, novelties, and fence posts. The fruits and young branches contain aromatic oil that is used in medicines. Just like the tree, Juniper is strong and beautiful.
