Amy first moved to Colorado in the early 1990’s after graduating from the Ohio State University. She worked in marketing and advertising and met her husband in Denver. Her family moved back to Ohio for 14 years and returned to Colorado in January 2019. Amy and her husband have a daughter who is preparing to go to Colorado State University and a high school son. She loves to spend time with her family, including their dogs, Baxter & Frisco, and enjoys gardening, road biking, camping and hiking.
Amy has a passion for dogs and helping and encouraging others. Her interest in service dogs grew after watching a documentary on them. She was fascinated by the the entire training process of a service dog and their unique matching with their human partner in need. Soon after, she became involved with a service dog school in Ohio and became a puppy raiser. She loved how her two passions, dogs and helping others, came together. Amy enjoys playing a small role in bettering the lives of others through the assistance of a service dog.
